Grape Slushie Floats Recipes

MIMOSA FLOATS

Steps:

• Pour 6 tablespoons champagne and 2 tablespoons orange juice into a 6-ounce champagne flute. Stir in 1/4 cup vanilla ice cream; if desired, top with chocolate shavings. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

CARAMEL FLOATS

Steps:

• Bring 1 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons lemon juice to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Continue to cook, swirling the pan but not stirring, until amber. Remove from the heat and carefully stir in 3/4 cup heavy cream and 2 tablespoons bourbon. Return to the heat and whisk until smooth; swirl in 2 tablespoons butter. Put 2 scoops vanilla ice cream in each glass and fill with root beer; drizzle with the caramel sauce.

GREEN RIVER FLOATS

Steps:

• Place 2 scoops ice cream in each of 4 glasses. Fill each glass with soda. Top each drink with whipped cream and sprinkles.

GREEN GRAPE SLUSHIES

Steps:

• Add the grapes and the lime zest to a blender; blend on high speed for 2 minutes. Add 1 1/2 cups of the soda and puree for another minute. Pour into a 9-by-13-inch baking pan and freeze for approximately 3 hours, or until frozen. Using a fork, scrape and stir the mixture, forming little shards of frozen grape puree.
• To serve, scoop the slushie into small juice glasses, top with 1/4 cup lemon-lime soda, and garnish with a red grape skewer. Serve with a spoon and a straw.
