This is a wonderful, refreshing drink that can be used for receptions, parties or even holiday get-togethers. This is decidedly different from your usual punch. It and can be stored in covered jars for several days in the refrigerator.

- Mix together the first 4 ingredients until sugar is dissolved. Put in punch bowl add gingerale.
- Note- you might have to divide the first 4 ingredients in half and put in punch bowl with 1/2 gingerale. Punchbowls might be too small for the full recipe.

- In a large saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Pour into a large container; add pineapple juice, concentrates and extract. Cover and freeze. Remove from freezer 1-2 hours before serving. Just before serving, mash the mixture with a potato masher and stir in soda.

Steps:
- In a small bowl pour boiling water over sugar stir until dissolved. Cover and chill completely.In a large bowl or pitcher stir together sugar syrup, apricot nectar, limeade concentrate, orange juice concentrate, pineapple juice concentrate and lemon juice. Cover and chill.To serve, pour juice mixture into chilled punch bowl stir in ginger ale and sherbet. Garnish with mint leaves, if desired.

MAGGIE'S GOLDEN FRUIT PUNCH

- Place fruit cocktail in a blender; cover and process until smooth.
- Pour into a large freezer container.
- Repeat with peaches and pineapple.
- Place bananas, sugar and water in the blender; process until smooth.
- Add to pureed fruit with orange juice concentrate and lemon juice, mix well.
- Cover and freeze.
- Remove from freezer 2 hours before serving.
- Just before serving, mash mixture using a potato masher.
- For each serving, combine 1/4 cup fruit slush with 3/4 cup soda.

AILEEN'S PUNCH
My sister's friend gave her this recipe years ago to use at our parents' 25th wedding anniversary party. We never had a name for it other than Aileen's Punch! This is very refreshing and so easy to put together. I recommend making an ice ring out of extra pineapple juice or apricot nectar.
