My son and I love to get the blender out and make shakes and smoothies, this was one of my favorite.

- Place 1 scoop frozen yogurt in blender with chocolate milk and coffee.
- Whirl until almost smooth.
- Pour into glass; top with remaining scoop of yogurt.

- In a blender, combine milk, coffee granules, sweetener and extract. Blend until coffee is dissolved. Serve with a dash of cinnamon. For a hot drink, pour into a mug and heat in a microwave.

FROZEN COFFEE SMOOTHIE
This recipe was found in the 2010 cookbook, Smoothie Heaven. Preparation time does not include the time needed to make the strong coffee or for it to cool & chill.

Steps:
- Add brown sugar to freshly made hot coffee & stir until sugar has dissolved.
- Scrape seeds out of half of a vanilla bean & put them, along with the bean, into the hot coffee, then set aside for 10 minutes to infuse.
- Remove the vanilla bean & let the coffee cool, then put it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes.
- When the coffee has chilled, peel the bananas & put them in a blender along with the coffee & almonds. Process until smooth, then add the ice & process until ice is roughly crushed.
- Pour into two glasses & serve immediately.

- In a blender, combine the yogurt, milk, sugar if desired and chocolate syrup. Add ice cubes and 1/4 cup marshmallows; cover and process until blended. Pour into chilled glasses; top with the remaining marshmallows. Serve immediately.
