FIREMAN'S APPLE PIE



Fireman's Apple Pie image

This pie makes its own crust. No special preparations or bad crust problems.

Number Of Ingredients 7

¼ cup margarine, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
4 apples - peeled, cored and sliced

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a medium bowl, cream margarine and sugar. Beat in the egg. Mix in the cinnamon, salt and flour; stir until smooth. Fold in the apples, then pour mixture into a 9 inch pie dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for one hour. The pie will make its own crust.
