Slow cooker pork tenderloin has a surprise combination of spices including barbecue sauce mixed with our favorite spices and cooked until tender.

2 pounds pork tenderloin
2 cups bbq sauce
1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
2 teaspoons chili powder
½ teaspoon kosher salt

Steps:

  • Add pork tenderloin to a 6-quart slow cooker.
  • Combine bbq sauce, mustard, chili powder, and kosher salt (and any other spices you'd like, see notes).
  • Pour bbq sauce mixture over the pork tenderloin and add the lid to the slow cooker.
  • Cook on high for 2- 2 ½ hours or low for 4 hours, until the pork tenderloin reaches 145°F.
  • Remove from the slow cooker and rest 10 minutes. Slice and serve with sauce.

1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon Montreal steak seasoning
2 pork tenderloins (1 pound each)
Mashed potatoes or cooked wild rice

Steps:

  • In a 5-qt. slow cooker, mix oil, soy sauce and steak seasoning. Add pork; turn to coat. Cook, covered, on low until a thermometer inserted in pork reads 145°, 1-3/4 to 2-1/4 hours. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes.

1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
1 cup water
¾ cup red wine
3 tablespoons minced garlic
3 tablespoons soy sauce
freshly ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Place pork tenderloin in a slow cooker with the contents of the soup packet. Pour water, wine, and soy sauce over the top, turning the pork to coat. Carefully spread garlic over the pork, leaving as much on top of the roast during cooking as possible. Sprinkle with pepper, cover, and cook on low setting for 4 hours. Serve with cooking liquid on the side as au jus.

pork tenderloin
1/3 cup olive oil
dry onion soup mix
1 lb baby carrots
4 peeled baking potatoes

Steps:

  • Combine the olive oil and dry soup mix in a large ziplock bag.
  • Mix well until the soup mix has absorbed some of the oil.
  • Add the pork to the bag and let marinate for 30 minutes making sure the mixture has covered it.
  • Meanwhile, cut the peeled potatoes into small pieces (about an inch) and put them in a baking dish. Add the carrots.
  • After the pork has marinated place it on top of the carrots and potatoes and pour the excess marinate over the pork, potatoes, and carrots.
  • Bake at 375 until the potatoes are fork tender.
