EASY APPLE AND SPICE CAKES

Steps:

• Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Make, bake and cool cake as directed on box for two 9-inch rounds.
• Place each cake on serving plate. Spread 1 can pie filling on each cake to within 1/2 inch of edge. Frost sides of cakes with frosting. Spoon remaining frosting into decorating bag. Pipe frosting around top edge of each cake. Store tightly covered in refrigerator.

APPLE SPICE CAKE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter a 10 inch tube pan. Cover raisins with warm water, let soak for 10 minutes and then drain. Whisk together flour, spices, and salt. Set aside.
• Cream together butter or margarine and sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Stir together soda and 1 tablespoon warm water, and mix into the sugar mixture. Stir in flour mixture, apples, and strained raisins until well blended. Pour batter into prepared pan.
• Bake for approximately 1 hour, or until a tester comes out clean. Cool in pan. Once cool, shake pan to loosen cake. Turn onto plate, and dust with confectioners' sugar.

EASY APPLE CAKE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, beat the sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla until well blended. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and baking soda; gradually beat into sugar mixture until blended. Fold in apples and walnuts., Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 35-45 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Serve with whipped topping.

EASY APPLE SPICE CAKE

Steps:

• Blend half a package (approximately 2 1/4 cups) cake mix, water, and egg in a mixing bowl.
• Beat at medium speed until batter is smooth.
• Pour half the batter into a greased 9" square pan.
• Combine remaining cake mix with cinnamon; add melted butter (or margarine) and vanilla.
• Toss with a fork to form large crumbs.
• Sprinkle half of crumb mixture over batter in pan.
• Arrange 1 cup of apple slices over crumb mixture.
• Carefully spoon on remaining batter.
• Arrange rest of apple slices over batter.
• Dot with the butter and sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.
• Bake in 350 degree oven 40-45 minutes or until done.
• Serve warm.

4-INGREDIENT APPLE SPICE CAKE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• Grease bottom and sides of a 9 X 13 inch cake pan.
• Dump spice cake mix into a large mixing bowl. Using a fork, work out any large lumps of mix.
• Add eggs, pie filling, and vanilla extract. Stir together well.
• Bake at 350 degrees for 32-36 minutes until cake top springs back when pressed down lightly.
• Cool and top with your favorite topping if desired (I like to sprinkle it with a little cinnamon and sugar and serve with a dollop of whipped cream.).

EASY APPLE CAKE

Steps:

• Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease or spray bottom only of 13x9-inch pan.
• In large bowl, beat dry cake mix, pie filling and eggs with electric mixer on low speed 2 minutes. Batter will be thick. Spread half of the batter in pan. Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle half of the mixture over batter in pan. Spread remaining batter in pan; sprinkle with remaining sugar-cinnamon mixture.
• Bake 32 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean; cool completely. Serve with whipped topping. Store loosely covered.

EASY APPLE SPICE CAKE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350f degrees.
• Mix cake as per box directions and bake in two 8" or 9" rounds.
• Let cool.
• Place 1 layer, round side down, on plate. Spread with pie filling. Top with second cake layer; round side up.
• Frost side and top of cake with frosting. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
• *I've made this and it kept well for 3 days.
• I also made with Cream Cheese Frosting (our personal taste).
