Chocolate lovers will delight in this moist rich cake that's easy to prepare using handy mixes and canned frosting. "I only make this dessert if I'm taking it somewhere," reports Nancy Baker of Boonville, Missouri. "I don't want it sitting in my kitchen, where I might be tempted to eat it all!"

1 package yellow cake mix (regular size)
1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup sour cream
3 large eggs
1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 cup water
4 ounces German sweet chocolate, grated
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup chocolate frosting, melted
Pecan halves

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine the cake and pudding mixes, sour cream, eggs, oil and water; beat on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium 2 minutes. Fold in the grated chocolate, chocolate chips and pecans. Transfer to a greased and floured 10-in. fluted tube pan., Bake 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. Drizzle with frosting; garnish with pecan halves.

1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
Prepare batter according to instructions on cake mix package. Stir in 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips. Reserve remaining chips.
Pour batter into Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 to 40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes in pan, then turn out onto a wire rack. Before cake is cool, pour reserved chocolate chips on top.

1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 medium ripe banana, mashed (1/3 cup)
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large eggs
2 cups finely grated peeled zucchini
1/2 cup canned crushed pineapple, drained
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup low-fat sour cream
1/3 cup light cream cheese, softened
1 cup icing sugar
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon low-fat milk

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 350°F Spray a 12-cup Bundt pan with vegetable spray.
Make cake: in a food processor, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, oil, banana, vanilla and eggs; process the mixture until it is smooth. Add zucchini and pineapple; process the mixture just until everything is combined.
In a bowl, stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda. Stir the wet ingredients into dry ingredients until they are mixed. Stir in the chocolate chips and sour cream. Spoon the mixture into a prepared pan.
Place the pan in the centre of the oven and bake 40 to 45 minutes or until a tester inserted in the centre comes out clean. Let the pan cool on a wire rack.
Make icing: with an electric mixer or food processor, cream together cream cheese, icing sugar, cocoa and milk. Spread mixture over the cooled cake.

In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt for 60 seconds on low speed with the electric mixer. Next, add the butter, eggs, oil, vanilla, and 2 tablespoons of the water. Beat on low speed just until all of the dry ingredients are moist.
Turn the mixer to medium speed and beat for 1 minute. Add 3 tablespoons water and beat for about 20 seconds on medium speed. Scrape the bowl and add the remaining 3 tablespoons water. Beat for 20-30 seconds until the batter is smooth. Then Fold in the chocolate chips. Scrape the batter into the pan and spread it evenly.
Bake for 35-40 minutes (be sure not to open the oven during the first 30 minutes) or until a toothpick inserted into a cakey place in the center of the cake comes out clean (except for melted chocolate chips).
