DELUXE RAMEN OR RICKS RAMEN NOODLES
This is a recipe that I came up with out of laziness. I did not want to go to the store and it is made up of things that I had on hand. To my surprise my wife liked it so much she requests it. It is very easy and uses ingredients that I almost always have on hand for other recipes.

Steps:
- Brown and drain the ground beef.
- In a medium pan boil 5 cups of water.
- Add ramen noodles. Boil for 3 minutes stirring occasionally.
- Drain noodles and place them back in the pan.
- Add water, corn, peas, soy sauce, red pepper, cinnamon, sugar and 1 and a half of the seasoning packets that come with the ramen noodles. Mix all together.
- Cook on low heat while mixing for about 5 minute or until all heated.

MUMMY'S RAMEN NOODLES
Ramen noodles are always popular with kids -- but the ones you buy are really high in salt and it only takes a few minutes to make your own! It's also fun to serve them in a glass or cup. This recipe comes from Disney's Family Fun website.

- Cook the noodles according to the packet instructions . Drain and set aside.
- Put the broth, soy sauce, peas, corn and chicken in a pan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes.
- In a small cup, mix the cornstarch with 1 tsp cold water and add to the contents of the pan, then cook, stirring for another minute or until the liquid thickens slightly.
- Add the noodles and scallion and reheat briefly, stirring. Transfer to a bowl or small cup to serve.

- Cook the noodles in water as directed on the package. Drain. Transfer cooked noodles into a small skillet that already has the sesame oil waiting. Then just lightly stir-fry. Finally, sprinkle about half of the seasoning packet onto the noodles and toss them in the skillet until well mixed. (You don't need the entire seasoning packet as the flavor is strong since you're not dilluting it with water.) Plate and serve!

CREAMY RAMEN NOODLES
A really special friend shared this recipe with me several years ago. It was his trick for dressing up those inexpensive noodles for his kids, and I think it is very good. This is great on its own as a quick meal, but can be an easy side for many dishes. We prefer the chicken or beef flavored noodles for this.

Steps:
- Bring water to boil in a small sauce pan.
- Add dried noodles and cook 3 minutes, or until noodles are tender. Stir occasionally.
- Drain away water. Return noodles to sauce pan.
- Add butter, milk and contents of seasoning packet.
- If your tastes desire, you may not use all of the seasoning packet.
- Heat on low heat and stir until butter is melted and noodles are coated with creamy sauce.
- Serve.

WHAT TO DO WITH RAMEN NOODLES
Ever have ramen noodles on hand but wonder if you can use them for anything else other than making soup-Reserve those seasoning packets-use those to make gravy later-just add three ingredients to the cooked noodles and you have a quick dinner

- Cook chicken until done.
- Cool slightly and dice chicken,return to pan.
- Add stewed tomatoes and drained chick peas.Heat the ingredients on medium heat.
- Cook and drain ramen noodles according to package directions (do not overcook noodles).
- DO NOT add seasoning packets-save those to make gravy!
- Add ramen to chicken,stewed tomato,chick pea mix.
- Toss to coat,place in serving bowl.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
