DELIGHTFUL APPLE PIE

- Unroll pastry into a 9-in. pie plate; flute edges. In a large bowl, toss apples with apple butter. Combine the flour, sugar, pie spice and cinnamon; add to apple mixture and toss to coat. Transfer to crust., In a small bowl, combine the flour, sugar, brown sugar, pie spice and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add walnuts; sprinkle over filling., Bake at 375° for 45-50 minutes or until filling is bubbly and topping is browned. Cover edges with foil during the last 15 minutes to prevent overbrowning if necessary. Cool on a wire rack. Serve with ice cream if desired.

- Preheat oven to 350 degree F (175 degrees C). Line a mini muffin pan with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter or margarine and sugar. Add eggs, and beat until smooth. Blend in cinnamon, allspice, baking powder, and baking soda. Alternately add in a half cup of applesauce, one cup of flour, remaining applesauce, and remaining flour. Stir until just blended together. Pour batter into muffin cups 2/3's of the way full.
- Bake in preheated 350 degree F (175 degrees C) oven for 17 minutes.

APPLE PIE TARTS
Just like a classic apple pie recipe, these easy Apple Pie Tarts are the perfect dessert for your holiday dessert table. These individual apple pies are easy to make and look amazing, making them the perfect make-ahead dessert for your Thanksgiving dinner!

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Lightly flour work surface with 2 Tbsp. of the flour. Roll out one of the Pillsbury™ Pie Crusts. Using a pizza cutter, cut into four equal quarters. Gently form each pie crust quarter into a 4" tart pan. Press into the bottoms and sides, trimming off any excess crust from the edges of the pan.
- In a mixing bowl, top the sliced apples with 2 Tbsp. of flour along with the sugar (or sweetener), cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir together well to coat the apples.
- Divide the apple mixture into each prepared tart pan.
- Using the second Pillsbury™ Pie Crust, cut 1/2" strips. Top each tart with the strips of crust, alternating the strips in each direction, forming the crust strips to the edges of the tart pan to secure.
- Brush the tops of each tart with milk. Lightly sprinkle with sugar or sweetener.
- Place the tarts on a baking sheet and lightly tent the tarts with aluminum foil to prevent the crust from over-browning. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake the tarts for 15-20 more minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature before serving.

DELIGHTFUL APPLE PIE
This recipe if so simple, it calls for fivegranny smith apples, it takes a very short time to cook, and I use refrigerator crust that works very well and makes great outcomes.

- Preheat Oven to 425.
- Begin to grease a tart or pie plate 9 inches, I used canola spray. Lay flat the dough with sides sticking up. In the meantime, allow sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt and butter to mix well with apple slices in a large mixing bowl. Toss gently.
- Next, place apple slices geometrically in a spiral, outer and inner circle, and continue in a spiral going up the pie. If you don't have time, just dump into pie crust. Take remaining dough, place over the top, press with matching edges, fold over, and begin to pinch with fingers. Insert marks in the top, I chose to make four, you can be creative as you like. Last, place a small amount of egg wash to give your crust a shiny gloss, then place in oven for about twenty-five minutes or until the crust has some light brown marks. Cook longer if apples need more tenderness. Serves well with ice cream or whipped cream.

- To make the pie crust: In a large bowl, combine your flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk to incorporate. Add your cold, cubed butter. Using a fork, pastry cutter, or food processor, cut the butter into the flour by breaking it up into smaller pieces. The pieces should be slightly larger than a pea.
- Add in about 6 tablespoons of cold water. Stir the water into the flour butter mixture until you start to get a ball of dough forming. If the dough is too crumbly, add in more water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until it starts sticking together. Divide the dough into 2 disks, cover tightly with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 3 days. Set a rack in the center of your oven and another rack in the bottom 1/3rd of your oven. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Once your dough is chilled, take one disk out of the fridge and roll out into a rough circle that's about 1/4 inch thick. Place your rolled dough into the bottom of a 9 inch pie plate. Gently tuck the dough into your pie plate, leaving a bit of dough hanging over the sides. Set aside in the fridge while you work on the filing.
- To make the apple pie filling: In a large bowl, combine apple slices, sugar, cinnamon, and flour. Toss to combine. Take your pie plate out of the fridge, and fill your prepared bottom pie crust with the filling. Dot the surface of the filling with pieces of your butter.
