This Easy Apple Crisp is a classic old-fashioned dessert that makes you feel all warm and cozy! Made with fresh cinnamon apples and a crunchy oat topping, all you need is a scoop of vanilla ice cream to complete this crowd-favorite treat.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Add all of the ingredients for the topping, except for the butter, to a medium-sized bowl and stir to combine.
- Add the cold butter and use a pastry cutter or fork to cut the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture is crumbly and comes together. Set aside.
- Combine all the ingredients for the apples and stir together so that the apples are well coated, then pour the mixture into an 8 or 9 inch square dish.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
- Bake for about 40 minutes, until the topping is golden around the edges and the apples are tender. Allow to cool for about 15 minutes prior to serving.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
- For the filling: Whisk together the brown sugar, flour, apple cider, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a large bowl. Peel and core the apples and cut into chunks. Add the apples to the brown sugar mixture and toss to combine.
- Transfer the apple mixture to the prepared baking dish in an even layer.
- For the topping: Combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, pecans, cinnamon and salt in a medium bowl. Add the butter cubes and use your fingers to completely work the butter into the flour mixture. The mixture should hold its shape when squeezed.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping over the filling, squeezing some of the mixture into small clumps. Bake until the filling is bubbly, the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown, about 1 hour.
- Let sit for at least 45 minutes and serve slightly warm or at room temperature.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray or butter a 9X15 size casserole dish with butter or cooking spray and set aside.
- 2. Wash, peel & slice apples into thin slices. Place in large bowl & sprinkle with the nutmeg and toss with the lemon juice till fully coated, then add sliced apples to prepared dish and set aside.
- 3. In a medium size sauce pan add splenda, cinnamon & corn starch and stir to combine. Then add water, and set over low heat, and bring to a simmer, and stir till SLIGHTLY thickened,remove from heat, add Vanilla, stir to mix & then pour over apples.
- 4. Now combine the brown sugar blend with the flour, oatmeal, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, mix well to combine, then add the melted butter, and mix till crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over apples. Place in preheated 350 degree oven, or 325 degrees F if using a glass dish, and bake for 1 hour until topping is brown and crisp. and caramel is oozing & bubbling through top. Serve with your favorite ice Cream.
- 5. Note you can also add nuts to the topping mixture if desired. You may also use regular sugar instead of splenda.You may also use less cinnamon if desired. This dish really made my husband very happy. I hope you like it too.
