CUBAN SLIDERS
These wonderful little rolls are baked until lightly toasted and the cheese melts. The leftover King's Hawaiian ham sliders keep really well in the fridge, and they make a lovely cold snack. Followers of my blog, houseofyumm.com, go nuts for these! -Serene Herrera, Dallas, Texas

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400°F and lightly grease a 9x13" baking pan. Set aside.
- Add package of rolls to your cutting board and using a serrated knife (like a bread knife), carefully slice across the rolls, horizontally, keeping one hand on top of the rolls to steady them.
- Once sliced, keep the rolls connected to each other and lift the entire top section off of the bottom section. Add the bottom section of the rolls to the prepared baking pan.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and 3 Tbsp of the melted butter. Spread half of the mustard mixture over the bottom half of the rolls in the baking pan.
- Add ham slices on top of the mustard, then add the pulled pork on top of the ham. Top that with the cheese slices and pickles.
- Spread remaining mustard mixture over the cut side of the top half of the rolls, then add top half of rolls, cut side down, on top of the pickles.
- In another small mixing bowl, add remaining 5 Tbsp melted butter and minced garlic. Brush mixture over the top of the rolls. Sprinkle with everything seasoning.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake another 5 minutes, or until hot and golden.

CUBAN SLIDERS FOR A CROWD
Every year we do a potluck at the school I work at. I try to do things that are filling but tasty. I found this recipe on Pinterest, but adapted it. Some people are weird about onions, so I excluded those but you can add those if you like (the original recipe had them minced and put in the dijon mixture). These are the perfect size to nosh on while visiting (great party or buffet food). I may try them with jalapeno jelly to add a little spice.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350. Grease an 11x15x2 inch sheet cake pan.
- Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half. Place the bottom of the rolls in the baking pan.
- Layer ham (until well covered), cheese (you may want more if you want it really cheesy), and pickles. Place the tops of the rolls back on (try to line them up with the rolls underneath).
- Dijon Spread: Melt butter in a glass measuring cup. Whisk together butter and dijon mustard. Let cool slightly and stir again (this will separate and then combine again as it cools). Spread over the tops of rolls (this makes the rolls look odd, but it tastes amazing.... if you want a cleaner look, spread it on the bottom side of the roll tops).
- Cover the sliders with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes or until rolls are a toasted brown. Cut sliders and enjoy!
