Crunchy Peanut Butter Cereal Party Mix Recipes

CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER CEREAL PARTY MIX

Steps:

• In large bowl, mix cereals, pretzels, peanut butter candies and peanuts; set aside.
• In 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave white chocolate and butter uncovered on High about 1 minute, stirring once, until melted and chocolate can be stirred smooth. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
• In large resealable food-storage plastic bag, toss half of the cereal mixture with 1/4 cup of the powdered sugar until evenly coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Repeat with remaining cereal mixture and remaining 1/4 cup powdered sugar. Store tightly covered at room temperature.

PEANUT BUTTER AND CHOCOLATE CEREAL TREATS

Steps:

• Line a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with a piece of parchment paper, leaving 1 inch of paper hanging over each side of the dish. This will help with removing the treats later. Spray the parchment paper with nonstick spray.
• In a 6-quart Dutch oven over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and cook, stirring continuously, until the marshmallows are melted and the butter is incorporated, 3 to 5 minutes. Reduce the heat to low and quickly add the cereal and peanuts; stir to combine. Transfer the cereal mixture to the prepared baking dish. Lightly coat a spatula with cooking spray, then use it to spread out the cereal mixture evenly.
• Put the melted chocolate in a plastic sandwich bag (or pastry bag), cut off one corner and drizzle over the top of the cereal treats. Refrigerate, uncovered, until set, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
• Remove the cereal treats using the parchment paper and cut into 24 bars.

CANDY SNACK MIX

Steps:

• In a large bowl, combine the peanuts, cereal and raisins. In a microwave, melt the butter, candy coating and peanut butter; stir until smooth. Pour over cereal mixture and toss to coat. , Working in batches, place sugar in a large bag; add coated mixture. Close bag and shake to coat. Spread onto baking sheets; sprinkle with M&M's. When cool, store in airtight containers.

PEANUT BUTTER CEREAL TREATS

Steps:

• In a large saucepan, combine the marshmallows, butter and peanut butter. Cook and stir over medium-low heat until melted. Remove from the heat. Stir in the cereal and M&M's., Pat into a 13x9-in. pan coated with cooking spray. Cool. Cut into bars.

• In large bowl, mix all ingredients. Store in airtight container.

CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER BREAKFAST COOKIES

Steps:

• Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, beat brown sugar, butter, peanut butter, vanilla and egg with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon until well blended. Stir in cereal and cranberries.
• On ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by slightly less than 1/4 cupfuls 2 inches apart.
• Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool completely on cookie sheet. Store tightly covered.

SWEET AND CRUNCHY POPCORN SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Line a large baking sheet with waxed paper.
• Combine crispy corn and rice cereal, honey graham cereal, peanut butter corn puff cereal, popcorn, chocolate pieces, and peanuts in a large bowl.
• Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat; whisk in flour until smooth, 2 to 3 minutes. Add brown sugar and corn syrup; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved, about 1 minute. Stir peanut butter into sugar mixture until creamy, about 3 minutes; pour over cereal mixture and gently toss until coated.
• Spread cereal mixture over prepared baking sheet and allow to cool, about 30 minutes. Once cooled, break mixture into chunks and store in an airtight container.
