CHEESY BEEF CRESCENT CASSEROLE
This is one of those old-timey recipes that's been handed down and adapted from my grandma, to my mom, to me. It's a simple hamburger-type casserole dish that's easy and satisfying.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Add green beans, onion, and bell pepper. Cook until onion is tender, about 5 minutes; drain well and return to the skillet. Pour in tomato sauce and garlic powder and mix until well combined. Set aside.
- Press the crescent roll dough into the bottom and sides of an 8-inch pie plate to form an even crust.
- Combine Monterey Jack cheese and egg in a bowl. Spread 1/2 of the cheese mixture into the bottom of the crust. Top with all of the beef mixture. Finish with remaining cheese mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven until egg is set and cheese is melted, 20 to 25 minutes. Serve hot.

HAMBURGER CASSEROLE
Cheesy Hamburger Casserole has layers of seasoned ground beef and cheese. Top with crescent rolls and grated Parmesan cheese.

- In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Drain.
- Stir in pasta sauce, heat through.
- Spread meat in an ungreased 2-quart baking dish.
- Combine mozzarella cheese and sour cream. Spoon over meat mixture.
- Unroll crescent rolls but do not separate into triangles. On a lightly floured surface, press the edges together and roll out to fit the baking dish. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake, uncovered, in a 375º F. oven for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

CHEESY HAMBURGER CASSEROLE
Just as easy to make as Hamburger Helper and you can control the ingredients. Great weekday meal and the kids love it!

- Sweat the onions in the oil with a three-fingered pinch of salt. Add the beef and cook it, breaking it up as you do. Add another three-fingered pinch of salt or two, along with the dry seasonings. Add the tomatoes and bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and cook for an hour.
- Cook the macaroni in boiling water till it's half done. Drain it and add it to the tomatoes. (I wanted this to stretch into two meals, so I used the whole box, but if you want your dish to be very tomatoey and beefy, you might want to add only half the macaroni). Stir it into the sauce. Taste it and add cheese and cover or transfer it to a large baking dish and cover it with foil. It can be refrigerated for up to two days, or frozen a few weeks.
- If refrigerated bake it in a 400 degree oven till it's piping hot (about 45 minutes if it's cold to room temperature). Just before you're ready to eat, remove the foil, cover macaroni with the cheese and broil till the cheese is bubbly.

CHEESY HAMBURGER CRESCENT CASSEROLE RECIPE

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cook the ground beef in a saucepan until brown. Season with salt and pepper.
- Drain the fat from the saucepan.
- Pour the cream of mushroom and ⅓ cup of cheese into the beef and set aside.
- Dust your working area with flour and roll your crescent dough. Divide into half, and press half of the dough over the bottom of an ungreased casserole.
- Pour the beef mixture over dough that has been pressed to the bottom of the baking dish.
- Top the dish with the remaining dough, trim the edge if necessary and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is slightly brown.
- Once done, let it rest for 10 mins. Garnish with alfalfa sprouts if desired and serve!

CHEESY HAMBURGER-CRESCENT CASSEROLE
This is an extremely easy and yummy recipe that includes ingredients you probably have laying around in your fridge! It's a great go-to dish when you need something quick to make for dinner! If you have a lot of mouths to feed, I would recommend doubling the recipe, as this is only for an eight-inch baking dish.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350º.
- 2. Brown hamburger in onion powder and green pepper. Drain.
- 3. Add tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic powder. Simmer.
- 4. Separate each biscuit into two pieces. Press half of the biscuits over the bottom of an ungreased eight-inch square baking dish.
- 5. In a small bowl, combine half a cup of cheese, sour cream and egg.
- 6. Stir the sour cream mixture into the meat mixture. Spoon over dough that has been pressed to the bottom of the baking dish.
- 7. Top the dish with the remaining biscuits and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- 8. Bake for about thirty minutes or until the cheese is lightly browned.
