CREAM CHEESE AND PARMESAN BREAD SPREAD

Steps:

• Mix the butter, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and Italian seasoning in a bowl until evenly blended.

NORTHWOODS INN CHEESE BREAD SPREAD

Steps:

• Soften butter to room temperature and mix in all ingredients except cheese. When well mixed, fold in grated cheddar cheese and optional Parmesan, if using.
• Spread over bread and broil until bubbly - watch carefully! Cheese does not melt completely. Mixture will turn golden brown in about a minutes or so.
• I make ahead and store in refrigerator for 4 weeks. I suppose you could store it longer, but it just doesn't last past snack time at my house.

PIMENTO CHEESE SPREAD WITH CRUSTY BREAD

Steps:

• Put the Cheddar, Asiago and mayonnaise in a bowl. Pulse the pimentos and their juices a few times in a mini food processor until coarsely chopped, and stir them into the cheese mixture. Serve with toasted country bread slices.

COTTAGE CHEESE SPREAD FOR EASTER BREAD (PASKA)

Steps:

• Cream cottage cheese, butter and sugar together.
• Beat until fluffy and add the grated egg yolks.
• Heat cream with vanilla in a small pot over medium heat just until bubbles appear. Don't boil.
• Add all at once to cottage cheese mixture; mix well.
• For a smoother spread, process small portions at a time in blender.
• Turn into freezer container.
• To use within a week or two, refrigerate.

INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS CHEESE GARLIC BREAD SPREAD

Steps:

• Microwave margarine in medium glass bowl for about 40 seconds or until its melted.
• Mix in all ingredients, using a fork.
• Spread the mixture over bread (I use a one of those long sourdough french loaves split in half lengthwise but I've also used plain thick cut bread or split dinner rolls).
• Place on baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes at 450, until the top is golden brown.
• Easy!
