EASY CREAM CHEESE DANISH
This recipe makes the best cream cheese Danish I have ever tasted. It is very simple to make.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Line bottom of baking pan with 1 can of crescent rolls. Pinch all seams together to seal.
- In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, white sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract and sour cream. Spread filling on top of rolls. Place second can of rolls on top of filling.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
- In a small bowl, stir together confectioners' sugar, milk and butter. After Danish has cooled, drizzle with icing.

CREAM CHEESE AND CHERRY DANISH BISCUITS
Honey-kissed cream cheese, sweet cherries, flaky golden pastry. Making your own DIY Danish has never been so simple or delicious.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange biscuits on baking sheet. Press the bottom of a 2 1/2" cup into the center of each biscuit, creating a "nest". Mold dough around the glass as needed to create a deep indentation surrounded by even edges.
- In a small bowl, whisk together egg yolk and milk. Brush mixture around the edges of each biscuit and sprinkle with sparkling sugar.
- In a large bowl, stir together egg white, cream cheese, honey and vanilla. Spoon mixture into the center of each nest.
- Bake for 10 minutes, remove pan from oven. Place cherries on top of cream cheese, return to oven and bake an additional 10-15 minutes, until the edges of the pastry turn golden brown. Remove from and cool completely.
- In a small bowl, melt frosting in the microwave and stir in almond extract. Drizzle over cooled pastries.

- 1. Heat oven to 375. Spray 16 muffin cupss w/ cooking spray.
- 2. Separate biscuits carefully into 2 halves. Place each biscui half into a muffin cup, pressing into bottom and sides to form a crust.
- 3. In bowl, beat cream cheese,egg, and sugar until smooth. Evenly spoon mix into muffin cups. Bake 10-12 mins, or until edges are golden.
EASY CHEESE DANISH

- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line 2 baking pans with parchment paper.
- Beat the whole egg with 1 teaspoon of water in a small bowl; set aside.
- Beat the egg yolk, cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice and vanilla in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until smooth.
- Lay out the 2 sheets of puff pastry and cut each into 4 squares. Fold the corners of the squares over by about 1 inch to make octagon shapes. Spoon the cream cheese mixture evenly into the center of each (about 2 tablespoons per); do not spread the cream cheese. Brush all of the exposed pastry with the egg wash, then dust generously with sugar.
- Bake until puffed and golden brown all over, about 18 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.

Found a Scandinavian recipe contest and this was one of the winners. I haven't had a chance to make it yet but it sounds easy and good!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Set aside.
- Separate biscuits and flatten each on baking stone.
- Peel, core and slice apple. Chop apple into smaller pieces.
- Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over biscuits.
- Top with chopped apples; sprinkle with chopped pecans.
- Drizzle topping over pecans. Bake 15 minutes or until biscuits are browned.
