Cable Car Sandwich Recipes

Steps:
- For the Sour Mix: Stir together the lemon juice and Simple Syrup in a glass.
- For the Boxcar: Pour the bourbon into a cocktail shaker. Add the triple sec and 1 ounce of the sour mix. Shake for 8 to 10 seconds. Wet the rim of a cocktail glass by rubbing it with the lemon wedge. Roll the rim of the glass in sugar to coat. Strain the shaker into the sugar-rimmed glass. This cocktail can be served straight up or on the rocks.
- Put the sugar and water in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. (Alternatively, heat in the microwave.) Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.

This sandwich is a bit different from what I'm use to but it is good. I had to add cheese...I can't eat a sandwich without a piece of cheese on it.

Steps:
- Prepare chicken patties according to package directions.
- For each sandwich, spread half of dressing and cucumber on one slice of bread, top with heated chicken patty,(this is where I add cheese) add half of bell pepper strips and add second slice of bread.

- Mozzacado Sandwich. Smash 1/2 of an avocado with a little salt and pepper. Spread onto 2 thick slices sourdough bread. Top one slice with 1/2 small ripe tomato, sliced, 2 thick slices whole-milk mozzarella cheese, and 4 fresh basil leaves.
- Ham and Cheese Baguette. Split 1 (6-inch) piece French baguette in half lengthwise. Spread the bottom half with 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard. Layer 2 ounces unsmoked, thinly sliced deli ham and 2 thin slices Gruyere cheese on top of the mustard.
- Peanut Butter, Banana, and Granola Wrap. Spread 2 tablespoons peanut butter evenly over 1 (8-to 10-inch) whole-wheat tortilla, leaving a 1-inch border.
