LOBSTER WITH GARLIC BUTTER



Lobster with Garlic Butter image

There's enough garlic butter here to drench every morsel of lobster meat-you'll want to serve crusty bread on the side to soak it all up. An easy Lobster with Garlic Butter recipe.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 small garlic cloves
2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
2 (1 1/4-pound) live lobsters
Garnish: lemon wedges; sea salt
N/A sea salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450°F with a large shallow baking pan in upper third.
  • Mince and mash garlic to a paste with 1/2 teaspoon salt, then stir together with butter and parsley.
  • Plunge lobsters headfirst into a large pot of boiling salted water (3 tablespoons salt for 6 quarts water) and cook, covered, 3 minutes from time they enter water. Transfer with tongs to a plate and let stand 5 minutes. (Lobsters will not be fully cooked.)
  • Lightly crack claws, then split lobsters lengthwise and discard innards from body cavity.
  • Remove tail meat from 1 lobster and cut crosswise into 8 pieces. Spread about 2 tablespoons garlic butter in one empty half shell, then fill that shell with all of sliced lobster and dot with 1 tablespoon garlic butter. Spoon about 5 tablespoons garlic butter into other empty half shell (for dipping). Repeat with remaining lobster.

1 dash lemon juice

Steps:

  • Remove lobster meat from shell and chop in cubes.
  • Melt butter.
  • In a shallow baking dish add lobster melted butter, lemon juice and salt & pepper.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Serve with lemon wedges.

1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix
2 eggs
3 bananas
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup oil

Steps:

  • mash the bananas.
  • add the slightly beaten eggs, milk, cinnamon,oil, and nutmeg.
  • mix well.
  • add the cake mix half at a time making sure all mix is incorporated before adding the second batch.
  • Add 2 cups of pumpkin if wanting pumpkin bread.
  • fill loaf pans 2/3 full. (we used miniature pans).
  • bake on full power 12 minutes uncovered.
  • the crust will form on top but it will not be done in the middle.
  • put a little butter over the top.
  • cover with tin foil allowing room for the bread to rise.
  • bake another 12 minutes on full power. done.
  • The bread rises up in the middle.
  • the butter and tinfoil are essential for the last baking to prevent cracking.

1 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Steps:

  • Cream together the butter and cream cheese. Gradually add sugar and egg continue beating until blended.
  • Add flour and baking powder gradually to butter/cream cheese mix. Chill dough 1-2 hours.
  • Roll out on floured board and cut in desired shapes. Bake on hi 6 minutes or until light brown
  • Frost with desired frosting.

3 lbs large shrimp, about 45, shelled, leaving the tails intact, butterflied, and deveined
2 cups spicy tomato base barbecue sauce

Steps:

  • Insert a 10-inch bamboo skewer at the tail end of each shrimp and thread the shrimp onto it.
  • Brush the shrimp with the barbecue sauce and arrange them on a 4" rack.
  • Just before grilling brush the shrimp again with the sauce, grill them on High for 2~3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and springy to the touch, and serve them warm or at room temperature.

These are Red Lobsters Cheddar Buscuits with a twist, they are made in your Nuwave/Flavorwave Ovens. Note: I add all together. If I have extra cheese I top with a bit of shredded cheese. You want to take these out as soon as they are done. Otherwise they will keep cooking!

2 cups Bisquick
3/4 cup 1% fat buttermilk (or low-fat)
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons margarine or 2 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes, crushed fine

Steps:

  • Combine the baking mix, milk and cheddar cheese in a medium bowl.
  • Mix by hand until well combined.
  • Divide the dough into 12 equal portions (about 3 tbsp each) and spoon onto a lightly greased or nonstick cookie sheet.
  • Flatten each biscuit a bit with your fingers.
  • Bake in Nuwave for 8 -10 mins on 8 (or 80 percent heat). Until the tops of the biscuits begin to brown.
  • In a small bowl, combine the buttery spread with the garlic powder and the parsley flakes.
  • Heat this mixture for 30 seconds in the microwave, then brush a light coating over the top of each biscuit.

2 slices of your favorite cheese
1/4 cup diced onion
1/4 cup diced green pepper
1/2 cup chopped ham or 1/2 cup cooked bacon
1 dash salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Whisk eggs, salt & Pepper and milk or water in a small bowl.
  • Saute ham, onion and pepper in 10" non-stick baking pan.
  • Cook eggs in small circular dish for 10 minutes on Hi on 1" rack stir half way.
  • When egg is cooked, place ham, onion and pepper inside of egg mixture, fold egg over omlette style.
  • Place cheese on top and put on 4" rack for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.
