Brown Sugar Spice Chex Party Mix Recipes

BROWN SUGAR SPICE CHEX™ PARTY MIX

Steps:

• In large microwavable bowl, measure cereal and nuts; set aside.
• In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave butter on High 30 seconds; stir and microwave 30 seconds longer or until butter is melted; stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and spices. Heat until boiling, about 30 seconds. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
• Microwave uncovered on High about 3 minutes, stirring every minute, until mixture is glazed. Cool 5 minutes, stir in cranberries. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container.

SPICY PARTY MIX

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
• Melt butter in a saucepan. Whisk in Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce until well blended. Whisk in seasoned salt, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, and celery seed.
• Combine corn cereal squares, wheat cereal squares, and pretzels in a large oven-safe bowl or roasting pan. Drizzle the sauce over the mix with a spoon, stirring frequently, until well coated.
• Bake in the preheated oven, stirring every 15 minutes, until hot and crunchy, about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
• Turn off the oven, stir the mix, and leave the oven door cracked open with the mix still inside. Let cool inside for 45 to 60 minutes. Store in airtight containers.

PUMPKIN SPICE CHEX MIX

Steps:

• In small bowl, mix brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice; set aside. In small microwave-safe dish, microwave butter on High about 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in vanilla. In large microwavable bowl, mix all cereals and pecans. Pour butter mixture over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly distributed. Add sugar and spice mixture and stir until coated.
• Microwave uncovered on High 5 minutes or until mixture begins to brown, stirring every minute. Spread on wax paper or a cookie sheet to cool. Store in airtight container.

PARTY HARDY CHEX® MIX

Steps:

• In small bowl, mix steak seasoning and brown sugar; set aside.
• In large microwavable bowl, microwave butter on High about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in cereals, nuts and fried onions until evenly coated. Stir in sugar mixture until even coated.
• Microwave uncovered on High for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until brown. Spread on cookie sheet to cool. Store in airtight container.
