1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons butter, softened
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon celery salt
4 tilapia fillets (6 ounces each)
4 lemon wedges

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, mix the first 7 ingredients. Arrange fillets in a 15x10x1-in. baking pan coated with cooking spray. Spread cheese mixture over fish., Broil 4 in. from heat 4-5 minutes or until topping is lightly browned and fish flakes easily with a fork, rotating pan halfway for more even browning. Serve with lemon wedges.

½ cup Parmesan cheese
⅛ cup butter, softened
3 tablespoons light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
¼ teaspoon dried basil
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
⅛ teaspoon onion powder
⅛ teaspoon celery salt
2 pounds tilapia fillets

Steps:

  • Preheat oven broiler. Grease broiling pan or line with aluminum foil.
  • Mix Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise, and lemon juice together in a small bowl. Season with dried basil, pepper, onion powder, and celery salt. Mix well and set aside. Arrange fillets in a single layer on prepared pan.
  • Broil a few inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip fillets over and broil for 2 or 3 minutes more. Remove fillets from oven and cover with Parmesan mixture on top side. Broil until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 2 minutes.

2 tablespoons Miami-style sazon seasoning (sazon completa)
1 serving olive oil cooking spray (such as PAM®)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter-margarine blend (such as Smart Balance®), melted
1 ½ tablespoons fat-free mayonnaise (such as Kraft®)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
⅛ teaspoon dried basil
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
⅛ teaspoon onion powder
⅛ teaspoon celery salt

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven's broiler and set the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source. Line a broiler pan with aluminum foil. Spray the broiler pan's rack with olive oil cooking spray.
  • Sprinkle tilapia with sazon seasoning and arrange on the prepared broiler rack.
  • Cook the fillets under the preheated broiler until fish is barely opaque, 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  • Mix the Parmesan cheese, butter-margarine blend, fat-free mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, basil, black pepper, onion powder, and celery salt together in a bowl.
  • Spread the Parmesan cheese blend over the fish fillets, return to oven, and continue cooking until the topping is golden brown and the fish flakes easily, 3 to 5 more minutes.

2 lbs tilapia fillets
1/4 cup margarine (softened, but not melted)
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon celery salt

Steps:

  • Preheat broiler.
  • Combine all ingredients EXCEPT fish. Mix thoroughly. Set aside for flavors to meld.
  • Line cookie pan with foil and lightly spray the foil with olive oil spray or Pam.
  • Arrange fish in single layer.
  • Broil 2 minutes.
  • Flip fish and broil 2-3 minutes.
  • Top each piece of fish with mixture (it will begin to melt).

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
3 tablespoons light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon onion salt
1/8 teaspoon celery seed

Steps:

  • Set oven to broil.
  • Spray Pam on large baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl combine the rest of the ingredients. Mix well.
  • Arrange fillets in a single layer on baking sheet.
  • Broil for 2-3 minutes.
  • Turn the fish over and broil 2-3 minutes more.
  • Remove from oven and top with Parmesan mixture, only the tops.
  • Return to oven and broil until golden brown on top and fish flakes easily. This takes about 3 minutes.
