About Indian Rooster Curry II

That is an adaptation of yellow rooster curry from India. The aromas and flavors are a delight to the senses! It’s best served with contemporary Naan bread and Jasmine or Basmati rice.

  • three tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • three tablespoons curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon floor cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ½ teaspoon grated contemporary ginger root
  • ½ teaspoon white sugar
  • salt to style
  • 2 skinless, boneless rooster breast halves – reduce into bite-size items
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste

How To Make Indian Rooster Curry II

Step 1

Warmth olive oil in a skillet over medium warmth. Saute onion till calmly browned. Stir in garlic, curry powder, cinnamon, paprika, bay leaf, ginger, sugar and salt. Proceed stirring for two minutes. Add rooster items, tomato paste, yogurt, and coconut milk. Carry to a boil, cut back warmth, and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.


Step 2

Take away bay leaf, and stir in lemon juice and cayenne pepper. Simmer 5 extra minutes.
