BARBECUED CHICKEN LEGS

- In a large nonstick skillet, brown chicken in oil. Transfer to an 8-in. square baking dish coated with cooking spray. In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, vinegar, steak sauce and hot pepper sauce; pour over chicken., Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until a thermometer reads 170°-175°, basting every 15 minutes with sauce.

EASY OVEN BAKED BBQ CHICKEN LEGS
Chicken legs roasted in the oven and slathered in a homemade bbq sauce.

Steps:
- Pat legs dry with a paper towel.
- Season both sides liberally with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Place chicken legs on a foil or parchment lined baking sheet.
- Bake at 400 degrees F. for 20 minutes.
- Flip and bake another 20 minutes.
- Increase heat to 450 degrees. Liberally brush sauce on one side and bake an additional 5-7 minutes.
- Flip and generously brush more sauce on second side and bake another 5-7 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F and sauce is browned.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400°F
- Prepare baking sheet by lining with parchment paper or foil. Place a lightly greased baking rack on top of baking sheet.
- Sprinkle drumsticks with salt and pepper
- Place on a greased baking rack over a baking sheet
- Bake in a preheated 400°F oven for 35-45 minutes or until 165°F and the skin is crispy
- Brush all sides of each drumstick with BBQ sauce and return to oven for 10-15 minutes until sauce is thickened and just beginning to brown
- Rest chicken for 5-10 minutes before serving
- Sprinkle with parsley, if desired

These baked barbeque chicken drumsticks are ready in less than 50 minutes and taste sweet, tangy, and juicy. I used Baby Ray's® barbeque sauce for ease and convenience but feel free to use homemade barbeque sauce.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with foil.
- Mix olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and cayenne together in a large bowl. Add drumsticks and toss to coat. Spread out on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and brush with barbeque sauce. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes. Flip drumsticks, brush with barbeque sauce, and bake an additional 7 to 8 minutes.
- Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and turn on the oven's broiler.
- Brush drumsticks with more barbeque sauce and broil for 3 to 4 minutes. Flip drumsticks, brush with barbeque sauce, and broil until chicken is no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, 3 to 4 more minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Place chicken in a shallow baking dish and sprinkle with garlic powder. Cover and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Remove baking dish from oven and drain any fat from dish. Pour the barbecue sauce evenly over the chicken and bake uncovered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Remove and serve.
