Very quick and easy recipe! Delicious with vanilla ice cream!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Place apples in a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a bowl, mix melted butter, flour, sugar, oats, and 1 tablespoon cinnamon to form a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle over apples. Dot with remaining 1/4 cup butter, and sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon cinnamon.
- Bake 50 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly browned and apples are tender.

I adapted this from a 50-year-old peach crisp recipe. Although it works well with peaches, it works even better with fresh, crisp cooking apples.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
- Arrange apple slices evenly in prepared baking dish. Sift flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Cut in butter using a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal; sprinkle over apples.
- Bake in preheated oven until topping is golden, 40 to 45 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degree C).
- Place the sliced apples in a 9x13 inch pan. Mix the white sugar, 1 tablespoon flour and ground cinnamon together, and sprinkle over apples. Pour water evenly over all.
- Combine the oats, 1 cup flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and melted butter together. Crumble evenly over the apple mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 45 minutes.

This is an old recipe from a dear lady named Anna. It has lots of Apples and a Crunchy topping. All good healthy ingredients. Great with ice cream or a splash of Half & Half.

Steps:
- After preparing the apples, put them in a large bowl.
- Add Apple Coating to Apples and stir until every slice is coated. Put them into a 9x9 baking dish. Pat down.
- Mix topping and put on top of apples.
- Bake at 350 degrees 40-45 minutes or until apples are tender.
- If you want to make a 9x13 pan, double the Apple Coating and use 1 & 1/2 recipe of the Apple Topping.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a 9 by 14 by 2-inch oval baking dish.
- Peel, core, and cut the apples into large wedges. Combine the apples with the zests, juices, sugar, and spices. Pour into the dish.
- To make the topping, combine the flour, sugars, salt, oatmeal, and cold butter in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Mix on low speed until the mixture is crumbly and the butter is the size of peas. Scatter evenly over the apples.
- Place the crisp on a sheet pan and bake for 1 hour until the top is brown and the apples are bubbly. Serve warm.

- Peel and core apples. Slice thinly.
- Put in a shallow 1quart casserole dish and sprinkle with water.
- Mix together dry ingredients.
- Cut in the butter to dry ingredient mixture. Mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle this mixture over the apples thickly and evenly. Do not mix.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30min.
- Uncover and bake until top is crisp (aprox 30 min).
- Serve hot or cold.
