AIR FRYER RIBS
Steps:
- Cut the rack of ribs in small sections such that they fit your air fryer basket.
- Season all sides generously with salt and pepper.
- Place the ribs with the meaty side down in the air fryer basket. Set the temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and the timer to 20 minutes.
- Flip the ribs over at the 10 minutes mark using a pair of tongs. Cook for the remaining 10 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to test for doneness. It should be at least 190 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Brush the ribs with BBQ sauce and cook for 5 more minutes, still with the meaty side facing up, at the same temperature (400 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Transfer the ribs onto a serving plate and let them rest for 5 minutes for the juices to redistribute through the meat. Brush with more BBQ sauce, if desired. Enjoy!

Steps:
- Remove the membrane: Peel off the silverskin from the back of the ribs.
- Cut the rack of pork ribs into 2-3 sections so that it can fit into your air fryer basket.
- Make the spice rub: In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper and cumin.
- Season the baby back ribs: Pat the ribs dry and rub the ribs on all sides with the spice rub.
- Cook the ribs in the air fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F/190°C for a few minutes. Once hot, place the ribs into the basket with the meat side down and cook for 15 minutes. (It's important to let the air fryer to heat up first to avoid the ribs from sticking to the basket.)
- Flip the ribs using kitchen tongs, and cook for 10 more minutes at 375°F/190°C.
- Make the BBQ sauce: While the ribs are cooking, you can add bbq sauce ingredients in a saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat until the sugar and salt are completely dissolved.
- Brush with BBQ sauce: Remove the basket from the air fryer and brush generously with barbecue sauce on all sides.
- Place the basket back in the air fryer and cook for 3-5 more minutes at 400°F/200°C, or until the sauce has set and darkened slightly. (It may take more or less time based on the thickness or your ribs)
- Remove the ribs from the basket and let them rest for 5 minutes so that the juices can redistribute through the meat. Feel free to brush with more barbeque sauce if you like.

AIR FRYER SPARERIBS
We used an air fryer to turn spareribs into a quick and easy weeknight dinner. Separating the ribs helps them to fit in the fryer, cook quickly and get an even, golden crust all over. Make sure you dip them in the warm barbeque sauce immediately after they are done cooking--they'll absorb more flavor while still hot.

Steps:
- Whisk together 1 tablespoon salt, 2 tablespoons pepper and 1 teaspoon of the paprika in a large bowl until well combined. Add the ribs and toss to coat, pressing the seasoning into each rib.
- Preheat a 3.5-quart air fryer to 350 degrees F. Transfer the ribs to the fryer basket and cook until the ribs are tender and golden brown, about 40 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine the ketchup, cider vinegar, white vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire, hot sauce, 2 teaspoons salt, 2 teaspoons pepper, 3/4 cup water and the remaining 2 teaspoons paprika in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar is melted and the sauce is warmed through, about 2 minutes. Cover and keep warm over low heat.
- Once the ribs are cooked, dip each one into the sauce, letting any excess run off. Serve with the remaining sauce on the side.
