Wilmas Hoosier Salad Recipes
WILMA'S HOOSIER SALAD
Steps:
- Mix first 4 ingredients together in large bowl
- In saucepan, over medium heat, beat egg, add cornstarch & sugar, and pineapple juice. Boil until thick, cool.
- Then mix cooled dressing with pineapple mixture. Enjoy. Chill covered.

GOOD OL' HOOSIER HAM SALAD
Another trip down memory lane for me. I grew up on this stuff! I especially love it on toast, and it has to be cut diagonally or it just doesn't taste right! And if you can't have toast, the next best thing is white bread.

Steps:
- 1. Chop the ham in a food processor until it is the consistency you like. I prefer it very finely ground.
- 2. Mix the ham, celery, eggs, onion and pickle relish in a large bowl.
- 3. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise and mustard; then add to ham mixture. Stir to mix and refrigerate at least one hour.
- 4. This is good on sandwiches, crackers, or as a dip for vegetables such as carrot sticks or anything else you like.
