Lemon Whippersnappers, lemon crinkles, same thing! This is a formed (ball) cookie rolled in powdered sugar, like chocolate crinkle cookies, only flavored with lemon.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 (18.25 ounce) package lemon cake mix
2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 egg, beaten
½ cup confectioners' sugar

Steps:

  • In a large bowl combine cake mix, whipped topping and egg; mix until well combined. Chill the dough several hours or overnight (or freeze dough wrapped in plastic).
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Form tablespoons of dough into one inch balls and roll them in the confectioners' sugar. Place the cookies on greased or parchment lined cookie sheet a couple inches apart.
  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes until cookies are set, but not browned. Cool on wire rack.

1 box cake mix any flavor
2 c cool whip
1 egg beaten
1/2 c powdered sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Mix cake mix, egg and cool whip together. Roll into tablespoon size balls.
  • 3. Roll balls into powdered sugar.
  • 4. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake 10-12 minutes untill set but not brown,

Well as you can see two favorite flavors are chocolate and coffee. Here is a super decadent coffee to make at home. You can add spirits to it as you choose. prep time does not include coffee making time

2 cups fresh brewed hot strong coffee (or to your taste) or 2 cups instant hot coffee
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
2 tablespoons coffee creamer (you choose the flavor- white chocolate is a favorite as is hazelnut)
sugar or artificial sweetener

Steps:

  • add all ingredients to your blender or if you have a hand held mini blender use a large cup to hold all liquids.
  • blend til frothy and pour into your favorite mug.
  • top with chocolate shavings or cinnamin or favorite topping.
  • For iced coffee- used chilled coffee instead of hot.
  • Add a few crushed ice cubes to the blender and whirl til blended.
  • If no blender then use a shaker cup- I do this at the cottage , just shake and pour into favorite cups and add toppings.
  • Additional toppings can be chocolate jimmies, M&M's, whipp cream, vanilla bean shavings.
  • Use your imagination.
