6 whole cloves
½ teaspoon cardamom seeds
4 cups apple juice
2 cups orange juice
2 cups cranberry juice
1 cinnamon stick

Steps:

  • Place cloves and cardamom seeds in a tea bag or coffee filter and tie the filter closed.
  • Combine apple juice, orange juice, cranberry juice, cinnamon stick, and clove-cardamom pouch in a large pot; simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.

4 cups apple cider or unsweetened apple juice
2-1/4 cups water
1 can (6 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
3 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
Orange slices and additional cinnamon sticks, optional

Steps:

  • In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine the apple cider, water, orange juice concentrate, nutmeg and ginger. Place cloves and cinnamon sticks on a double thickness of cheesecloth; bring up corners of cloth and tie with string to form a bag. Place bag in slow cooker. , Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until heated through. Remove and discard spice bag. Garnish with orange slices and additional cinnamon sticks if desired.

  • In a 5-qt. slow cooker, combine water, sugar and juices; stir until sugar is dissolved. 1 tablespoon whole allspice

Steps:

  • In a 24-cup percolator, combine cranberry juice, water, pineapple juice, brown sugar and food coloring if desired. Place the cinnamon sticks, cloves and allspice in percolator basket; cover and begin perking. When cycle is complete, discard contents of basket. Serve the punch warm.
