- Prepare and bake brownies in 13x9-inch pan as directed on package; cool. Meanwhile, beat pudding mix and milk with whisk 2 min. Add peanut butter and sugar; mix well. Refrigerate until brownies are completely cooled.
- Spread pudding mixture over brownies.
- Microwave COOL WHIP and semi-sweet chocolate in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min. or until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring every 30 sec. Spread over pudding mixture; sprinkle with nuts. Refrigerate 1 hour.

Steps:
- Prepare the brownies as directed on the package (brownie mix, water, oil and eggs) using a 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Whisk milk and pudding mix 2 minutes while brownies are cooling. Add peanut butter and sugar; mix well. Cover and refrigerate pudding mixture until brownies are completely cooled.
- Spread pudding mixture over brownies.
- Microwave whipped topping and chocolate on high for 1 minute, stirring every 30 seconds. Spread over pudding; sprinkle with nuts. Refrigerate 1 hour. Refrigerate leftovers -- yeah right, leftovers!

- Make the brownies: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 9-inch (23-cm) square baking pan with parchment paper and grease with nonstick spray.
- Add the butter and 1 cup of the chocolate chips to a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1½ minutes, then let sit for 3 minutes before whisking until smooth. Add the granulated and brown sugars, vanilla, and salt. Whisk to combine. Whisk in the eggs until fully incorporated.
- Sift the flour and cocoa powder into the bowl and fold to combine with a spatula. Add the remaining ½ cup chocolate chips and fold to incorporate.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached. Let cool completely.

- Preheat oven to 350°; line a lightly greased 13 x 9 inch pan with aluminum foil, allowing foil to extend over ends of pan; set aside.
- Melt 1 cup butter in a saucepan over medium heat; remove pan from heat.
- Add in 6 ounces chopped chocolate, and let stand 5 minutes; stir until smooth; transfer to a large mixing bowl.
- Add 2 cups sugar to melted chocolate mixture; beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended.
- Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating just until blended; add vanilla.
- Add flour; beat on low speed just until blended; stir in 3/4 cup peanuts.
- Spread batter into prepared pan; bake for 30-34 minutes (wooden pick will not test clean).
- Remove to a wire rack, and cool completely.
- Meanwhile, beat peanut butter and 1/2 cup butter in a bowl at medium speed until blended.
- Add powdered sugar; beat until blended.
- Spread over cooled brownies.
- Melt 8 ounces chocolate squares and remaining 1 ounce chopped chocolate in a small glass bowl according to microwave package directions; stir in corn syrup.
- Spoon dollops of melted chocolate over peanut butter layer; spread gently to cover peanut butter layer.
- Sprinkle with 1/3 cup peanuts, if desired.
- Cover and chill 2 hours or until set.
- Use foil to lift brownies out of pan; peel foil away from sides of uncut brownies; cut into bars.
