This is a NON-EDIBLE cookie recipe that makes lovely ornaments to hang on your Christmas Tree.

Yield 1

Number Of Ingredients 3

4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup salt
1 ½ cups water

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix the flour, salt and water. Knead dough until smooth. Roll out dough and cut into desired shapes. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour. Once cool paint with colors, if desired.

Clay dough makes great modeling material for all kinds of arts and craft projects. It can be formed into sculptures just like real clay, dried, and painted. Making your own clay dough is easy and fun!

1 cup(s) flour
1/4 cup(s) salt
1 teaspoon(s) oil
2 teaspoon(s) cream of tartar
1 cup(s) water, warm
- food coloring

Steps:

  • Mix all of the ingredients together, adding the food coloring last.
  • Stir ingredients over medium heat until smooth.
  • Remove from pan and knead dough until it's blended and smooth.
  • When cool, store dough in airtight container or sealed plastic bag.
