Three O Watermelon Cosmo Recipes

WATERMELON COSMO

Steps:

• Blend watermelon in a blender until smooth; strain through a fine mesh strainer and discard pulp. Pour strained watermelon juice, and vodka into a cocktail shaker filled with ice; strain into a glass. Squeeze lime juice into the cocktail.

WATERMELON COSMO PUNCH

Steps:

• Heat 1 cup each sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved; cool completely. Puree 6 cups chopped seedless watermelon in a blender. Pour 3 cups of the watermelon puree into a pitcher; add 3 cups vodka, 1 cup lime juice and 1 cup of the simple syrup. Serve over ice and garnish with mint.

WATERMELON COSMO PUNCH

Steps:

• Pour the vodka, watermelon puree, lime juice and Simple Syrup into a pitcher. Add to a punch bowl or a hollowed-out watermelon. Serve in punch glasses over ice and garnished with mint.
• Combine the sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and let cool completely. Keep covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

Steps:

• Heat 1 cup each sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved; cool. Puree 6 cups chopped seedless watermelon in a blender. Pour 3 cups of the watermelon puree into a pitcher; add 3 cups vodka, 1 cup fresh lime juice (from about 10 limes) and 1 cup of the simple syrup. Serve over ice and garnish with mint. Serves 8 to 10.

WATERMELON COSMO

Steps:

• To make watermelon juice: In a blender, whiz ¼ of a whole watermelon cut into chunks, then strain liquid through a sieve, discarding pulp, for watermelon juice.
• To make cosmo: Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously.
• Strain into 2 large chilled martini glasses.
• Garnish with a green melon ball, if you like.

THREE-O CHERRY COSMO

Steps:

• Shake with ice. Strain into chilled martini glass.
• Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
