These are just perfect for that sweet tooth craving! They seem too simple but really are good. It is my Grandmother-in-law's recipe and she gave it to me.

1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups butterscotch chips
2 cups sweetened coconut
1 cup pecans, chopped
12 ounces sweetened condensed milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Melt butter and add to a 9x13 pan.
  • Add chocolate chips.
  • Add butterscotch chips.
  • Add coconut.
  • Add chopped pecans.
  • Pour sweetened condensed milk over top.
  • Gently shake pan.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.

This is a delicate textured bar that will bring raves from your guests and family and pleasure to the tummies.

2 cups flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup margarine or 1 cup butter, softened
1 (12 ounce) package white chocolate chips (Nestle's)
1 1/4 cups coarsely chopped nuts, divided
3 large egg whites
1 cup packed brown sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • CRUST:.
  • Blend flour, powdered sugar and butter with pastry blender in medium bowl until crumbly.
  • Press evenly onto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set.
  • TOPPING:.
  • Sprinkle morsels and 1 cup nuts over hot crust.
  • Beat egg whites in small mixer bowl until frothy.
  • Gradually add brown sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
  • Carefully spread meringue over morsels and nuts.
  • Sprinkle with remaining nuts.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm or cool cool completely.

5 1/2 cups boiling water, divided
1 (3 ounce) package strawberry flavor gelatin
1 (3 ounce) package lime flavor gelatin
1 (3 ounce) package orange gelatin
1 (3 ounce) package lemon flavor gelatin
2 ounces unflavored gelatin (2 envelopes)
1/2 cup cold water
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Steps:

  • ADD 1 cup boiling water to each flavor fruit gelatin mix in separate bowls. Stir at least 2 minute until completely dissolved. Pour each flavor of gelatin into separate small shallow food storage container sprayed with cooking spray. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
  • SPRINKLE unflavored gelatine over cold water; let stand 1 minute Stir in 1-1/2 cups boiling water. Add condensed milk; mix well. Cool slightly.
  • CUT flavored gelatin into cubes. Randomly place cubes in 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Pour milk mixture over cubes. Stir very gently, if necessary to distribute gelatin cubes. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or 1/4 cup pecans
3/4 cup flaked coconut
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk

Steps:

  • Combine butter and crumbs in an 8-inch square baking dish; press down to form a crust.
  • Sprinkle with chocolate chips, nuts and coconut.
  • Pour milk over all.
  • Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup oats
4 large eggs
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 teaspoons orange zest
2/3 cup orange juice
1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • To make the crust, beat butter with electric mixer until creamy. Add confectioners' sugar; beat well. Then,add combined flour and oats; beat on low speed until crumbly.
  • Press crumbs firmly and evenly onto bottom of Greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake 20 minutes, until light golden brown. Remove from oven. Reduce heat to 300ºF.
  • While the crust is baking, prepare the filling. Beat eggs, granulated sugar and orange zest until well blended. Add juice; beat to combine. Add flour and mix just enough to combine. Pour filling over warm, baked crust.
  • Bake the crust with filling until filling is set, about 40 minutes.
  • Cool in pan 30 minutes. Cover and refrigerate.
  • To serve, cut into bars. You may choose to garnish with more orange zest or confectioner's sugar.
