TOASTED TUNA MELTS
This tuna melt recipe with celery, onions and cheddar cheese is perfect for when you don't have a lot of time, but still want something comforting.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 400°F.
- Mix cream cheese spread and dressing in medium bowl until blended. Stir in tuna, celery and onions.
- Place toast slices in single layer on baking sheet. Spoon tuna mixture evenly onto toast slices; sprinkle with cheddar.
- Bake 5 min. or until Cheddar is melted.

TUNA MELT
Steps:
- Preheat the broiler and set the rack about 4 to 5 inches from the heat source.
- Spread the bread out on a baking sheet and toast. Spread the toasted muffins or bread with the mayonnaise, if using. Top with the Tuna Salad and then the shredded cheese. Place the baking sheet under the broiler and heat for 3 to 5 minutes, until the cheese has melted. Serve immediately.
- In a small mixing bowl break up the tuna with a fork. Toss with the celery, onion, and parsley. Add the mayonnaise, mustard, and season with pepper to taste. Stir to combine. Add lemon juice, if using.
TEXAS TOAST TUNA PATTY MELT BY NOREEN
I love Tuna melts. I also love Texas toast with cheese. I decided to combine my Tuna patty with the Texas toast,and the combination is delicious. This is a great sandwich for lunch,or a light dinner. Enjoy friends!!

Steps:
- 1. mix all ingredients together for tuna. split mixture in half for 2 patties.
- 2. toast the Texas toast in oven at 425. While toasting. Slice the tomato,and get your lettuce. heat fry pan with a bit of olive oil,or vegetable oil .
- 3. Take tuna and gently make in to a thick size patty to fit on toast. place in fry pan with oil. Cook on each side about 2 minutes with out disturbing.
- 4. Place patty on Texas toast with the Cheese inside. Place a slice of cheese on top of tuna.Place under broiler until cheese melts. Add lettuce and tomato, and top with 2nd slice of toast.
- 5. Note: Make it really yummy! Top sandwich with tarter sauce if desired. Yummy touch!!
ULTIMATE TUNA MELTS
Steps:
- In a medium bowl, flake the tuna finely with a fork. Add the celery, scallions, and dill, and continue mixing and fluffing with the fork until combined. Add the lemon juice, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, and 3/4 teaspoon pepper. Combine the mayonnaise and anchovy paste, if using, and mix into the tuna.
- Preheat the broiler. Toast the bread in a toaster and place the slices in a single layer on a sheet pan. Spread a quarter of the tuna mixture thickly and evenly on each piece of bread, covering the entire slice. Sprinkle the cheese evenly on the 4 sandwiches, covering the tuna completely. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes, just until the cheese melts and starts to brown. (Watch it carefully!) Sprinkle with the microgreens and serve hot.
