BLOOD ORANGE MARGARITA
Blood oranges add a beautiful ruby red hue to a pitcher of margaritas. Remember to add a large pinch of hot chilli powder to really make your cocktail sing!

Steps:
- Tip the sea salt flakes, sugar and chilli powder onto a plate and mix. Run a blood orange slice over the rims of four glasses, then dip them in the salt and sugar mixture. Fill the glasses with lots of crushed ice.
- In a bowl or jug, mix together the tequila, orange juice, lime juice and triple sec, add some ice and stir really well until chilled. Strain into the four glasses and serve with a blood orange slice or wedge on the rims.

BLOOD ORANGE MARGARITA
Steps:
- Rub 1 of the lime wedges around the outside of the rim of the margarita glass, and then roll it in the salt. Fill the glass with ice.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour the tequila, lime juice, agave and blood orange puree over the ice. Shake vigorously 10 times. Strain into the margarita glass, garnish with the remaining lime wedge and serve.

I sure wish you could get blood oranges all year round. If your lucky enough to have them in your area you really should try this. I got this recipe from Ina Gartner. These are great for Halloween just because of their color.
