A wonderful recipe I got from one of my favorite author, Bonnie Stern. Can be used on all meats or fish. Cooking time is an approximate

Yield 1/3 cup

Number Of Ingredients 7

3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons rice wine
3 tablespoons brown sugar or 3 tablespoons Splenda brown sugar blend
1 garlic clove, smashed
1 inch gingerroot, cut in chunks
lemon peel

Steps:

  • Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil and cook until mixture is reduced by half.
  • Cool and remove garlic, ginger and lemon peel.

1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 cup water
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon honey
1 -2 drop stevia
1/4 cup cold water
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients except for stevia, cornstarch, and 1/4 cup of water.
  • Mix cornstarch and the 1/4 cup of water and add to sauce heat until desired thickness.
  • Add stevia for sweetness.
