CLASSIC HOT TODDY

Steps:

• In a teapot or saucepan, bring the water to a simmer. Pour the hot water into a mug.
• Add the whiskey, 2 teaspoons honey and 2 teaspoon lemon juice. Stir until the honey has disappeared into the hot water. Taste, and add 1 teaspoon honey for more sweetness, and/or 1 teaspoon more lemon juice for more zing.
• Garnish with a lemon round and cinnamon stick (if using). Enjoy!

GOLD MEDAL TEQUILA TODDY

Steps:

• Stud the apple ring with some cloves; set aside.
• Steep the chai tea bag in the hot water for 2 minutes in a mug. Discard the tea bag. Add the tequila, agave and orange liqueur and stir gently to combine. Garnish with the clove-studded apple ring.

CIDER AND TEQUILA HOT TODDY

Steps:

• In a saucepan heat cider and cranberry juice cocktail just until hot (do not let boil) and remove from heat. Stir in tequila and liqueur. Serve toddies in mugs, garnished with lime slices.

TEQUILA TODDY

Steps:

• In a heated coffee mug mix first three ingredients. Top off with hot water until you like the taste. Garnish with a lime wheel and a cinnamon stick.

WARM COMFORT

Steps:

• Place 2 chamomile tea bags in a heatsafe vessel, such as a large liquid measuring cup. Pour in 1 ½ cups boiling water, and let steep 5 minutes, then remove tea bags.
• Add 1 ½ oz. reposado tequila, ¾ oz. fresh lemon juice, and 1 Tbsp. agave nectar and stir until incorporated. Pour into a 16-ounce insulated mug (or two smaller 8-ounce mugs) and drink hot.

CIDER AND TEQUILA HOT TODDY

Steps:

• In a saucepan heat cider and cranberry juice cocktail just until hot (do not let boil) and remove from heat.
• Stir in tequila and liqueur.
• Serve toddies in mugs, garnished with lime slices.
• Makes about 6 cups.
• Note: To spice up a little: add cinnamon sticks, a little cloves, allspice and nutmeg.
• You can garnish with the above listed lime slices or also add orange slices.
