Tequila Thyme Lemonade Recipes

THYME LEMONADE

Steps:

• Bring 1 bunch thyme and 1 1/2 cups each sugar and water to a simmer in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Let cool, then strain the syrup into an ice-filled pitcher. Stir in 2 cups each fresh lemon juice and cold water. Serve over ice with thyme sprigs and lemon slices.

THYME TEQUILA LEMONADE

Steps:

• Add the lemonade, thyme, tequila and sliced lemons in a pitcher and stir.
• Leave it in the fridge and let the thyme infuse, then when you're ready to serve, add in the ice!

TEQUILA LEMONADE

Steps:

• Into a pitcher, put about 2 scoops of ice cubes. Squeeze in the juice of 8 Meyer lemons or 8 regular lemons in a pinch! Add several dashes of sugar cane syrup. Add the leaves of 2 fresh mint sprigs, torn into pieces. Add a few lemon wheels for garnish. Add 4 ounces of Tequila and give it a stir. Place in the refrigerator to chill.
• When serving, put the ice in tall glasses, and pour the Tequila Lemonade over the top. Top up with a splash of fizzy soda water. Garnish each glass with a wheel of lemon, a vanilla bean, a sprig of mint, and a paper umbrella.

TEQUILA-THYME LEMONADE

Steps:

• Muddle thyme sprigs with superfine sugar and lemon wedges in a glass. Add silver tequila, cold water, and ice. Stir.

THYME LEMONADE

Steps:

• In a medium saucepan, bring sugar, thyme, and 1 cup water to a boil; stir until sugar is dissolved, about 2 minutes. Stir in lemon juice, gin (if using), and 6 cups cold water; strain into a large pitcher. Refrigerate until cold, at least 1 hour (and up to 1 week). Serve over ice, garnished with thyme sprigs, if desired.
