- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir in the milk just until combined; fold in peaches. Spread into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. In a large saucepan combine the water, sugars, butter and nutmeg. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugars are dissolved. Pour over top. Bake at 400°F for 40-50 minutes or until filling is bubbly and a toothpick inserted in topping comes out clean. Serve warm or cold with half and half cream drizzled over the top.

- Preheat oven to 400°. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and, if desired, cinnamon. Stir in milk just until combined; fold in peaches. Pour over peach mixture. Bake until filling is bubbly and a toothpick inserted in topping comes out clean, 40-50 minutes. Serve warm or cold with ice cream, if desired.

(Makes enough to prepare the recipe 3 times, for 6 servings.) To make 2 cocktail drinks: Juice two limes and pour lime juice into blender bowl. Add whiskey, 5 ounces peach purée and sugar. Fill a serving glass with ice, then add ice to blender and repeat, adding another glass of ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into two 14-ounce cocktail glasses. Garnish with whipped cream, if desired. Servings: 2 Nutritional Information Per Serving: Calories per drink: 220 (based on 80-proof whiskey)** *Note: One, 15-ounce can of peaches in heavy syrup makes 6 drinks. **Note: Higher-proof whiskey contributes more calories.
