SPUTNIK DONUT HOLES

Steps:

• Beat all ingredients to form a smooth batter.
• Drop by teaspoons in hot fat. These little balls will end up in many shapes (some with tails; they turn themselves if you don't put them too close together).
• Roll in powdered sugar.

SPUTNIKS

Steps:

• 1. Beat egg.
• 2. Add milk and vanilla.
• 3. Add rest of ingredients, shortening last.
• 4. Drop in hot oil (365 degrees) by teaspoonful.
• 5. Roll around while cooking (them, not you).
• 6. Remove when golden and drain on paper towels.
• 7. Roll THEM in powdered sugar while hot.
• 8. Don't eat too many!!!!

SPUTNIKS

Steps:

• Beat all wet ingredients together and slowly add dry ingredients. Heat canola oil to 400 degrees. Drop by teaspoons into oil. Remove when golden brown. Roll in cinnamon sugar.

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass.
