Canned beans and taco meat inside crunchy crescent roll ring-easy and feeds 4 to 6 people on a busy night.

Ingredients

2 can(s) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 lb lean ground beef
1/4 c minced green bell pepper
1/2 can(s) refried beans
1 pkg dry taco seasoning
1 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
2. In a nonstick pan, brown ground beef and peppers, stirring to break up, until cooked on medium heat.
3. Add dry taco seasoning mix and 1/3 cup water. Stir and turn heat to low and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
4. Unroll crescent rolls and separate into individual triangles, laying in a star pattern, overlapping edges, with points outward, using both cans, placing on baking sheet.
5. Spread beans onto inner portion of crescent rolls. Top with half of the cheese. Spread with the meat and top with the other half of cheese.
6. Bring up points of dough over meat and tuck in bottom. Bake 25-30 minutes, or until done. Slice and serve.
