GUAVA PUNCH
It's true, I'm a drinker. I love punches, teas, mocktails, sodas... When the Mexican market moved in, I discovered tropical nectars. Mango and Guava are my favorites. The lady who runs the market gave me this punch recipe that her daughter makes. It's delicious, fruity, and easy. She said they serve it with a platter of the Mexican cookies they sell there, which are themselves delicious, as well.

Steps:
- Bring sugar and water to a simmer for 10 minutes and chill until cold. Stir in the juices.
- Before serving, stir in the ginger ale and serve over cracked ice.

- Combine all the ingredients in a punch bowl. You can add an ice ring with cranberries in it.

- Mix guava and lemon juices in a large bowl or pitcher. Chill for at least 2 hours. Just before serving, stir in ginger ale and seltzer. Serve over ice and garnished with lemon slices if desired.
TROPICAL FRUIT PUNCH
This is a sweet and refreshing punch. My kids love it. Recipe by Angela Shelf Medearis. Note: We prefer no pulp, so I used Crystal Light lemonade and no pulp orange juice. I found the guava juice in cans in the ethnic aisle at the grocery store and the pineapple and papaya juices in the juice aisle.
