1-1/2 cups uncooked whole wheat penne pasta
3/4 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) no-salt-added diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons dill pickle relish
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon steak seasoning
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
3/4 cup shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
Chopped green onions, optional

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Drain pasta; add to meat mixture. , Stir in the tomatoes, relish, mustard, ketchup, steak seasoning and seasoned salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. , Sprinkle with cheese. Remove from the heat; cover and let stand until cheese is melted. Garnish with green onions if desired.

Vegetable oil, for frying and brushing
Kosher salt
4 ounces spaghetti
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 small onion, cut into chunks
5 cloves garlic, smashed
1/2 cup fresh basil, plus 2 tablespoons thinly sliced, for topping
1/4 cup fresh parsley
1 1/4 pounds ground beef chuck
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup tomato sauce, plus 1 cup warmed for dipping
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
4 slices mozzarella cheese
4 hamburger buns, split
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

Steps:

  • Make the fries: Brush a baking sheet with vegetable oil. Heat 2 to 3 inches vegetable oil in a Dutch oven until a deep-fry thermometer registers 365 degrees F. Meanwhile, bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook as the package directs, then drain. Spread in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet and let cool.
  • Cut the cooked spaghetti into short pieces and fry in batches, turning once, until golden, 30 seconds to 1 minute. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with the parmesan and salt.
  • Make the burgers: Preheat the broiler. Pulse the onion, 4 garlic cloves, 1/2 cup basil and the parsley in a food processor until finely chopped. Transfer to a bowl and add the ground beef, 1/2 cup each parmesan and tomato sauce, the oregano, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and pepper to taste. Mix with your hands until combined and form into four 1-inch-thick patties. Transfer to a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Broil the patties, turning once, until browned and just cooked through, 6 to 8 minutes. Top each patty with a slice of mozzarella and 2 tablespoons of the remaining tomato sauce. Return to the broiler until the cheese melts, about 30 seconds.
  • Place the buns split-side up on another baking sheet and toast under the broiler until just golden, 1 to 2 minutes. Brush the toasted sides lightly with the olive oil, rub with the remaining garlic clove and sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup parmesan. Return to the broiler until the cheese melts, about 30 seconds.
  • Place each patty on a bun bottom and top with some sliced basil and a bun top. Serve with the spaghetti fries and warm tomato sauce for dipping.

1 lb ground beef
2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package onion soup mix
2 tablespoons butter
1 medium onion, Chopped
1/3 cup celery, Chopped
1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/3 cup cheddar cheese, Grated

  • Break pasta strands in 3 and cook as package directions.
  • Drain and rinse with hot water than cold water than set aside

1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
4 cups beef broth
16 oz fusilli pasta
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup milk
green onion, sliced, to serve

Steps:

  • In a large pot over a medium-high heat, add ground beef, onions, garlic, salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce, and ketchup. Break up the beef to incorporate the seasonings and cook until browned, about 6-7 minutes.
  • Pour in the beef broth and one cup of water and bring to a simmer.
  • Add the pasta and simmer for 20 minutes or until the pasta is cooked throughout and the broth has cooked down, stirring occasionally.
  • Pour in the milk and cheese. Stir until the cheese has melted.
  • Serve garnished with some sliced green onions
  • Enjoy!

8 bacon strips, chopped
2 pounds ground beef
1/2 large red onion, chopped
12 ounces uncooked spiral pasta
4 cups chicken broth
2 cans (15 ounces each) crushed tomatoes
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 cup water
1/4 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons prepared mustard
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1/3 cup chopped dill pickle
Optional: Chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sliced pickles and sliced red onion

Steps:

  • In a 6-quart stockpot, cook bacon over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until crisp, 6-8 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Discard drippings. , In the same pot, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink, breaking into crumbles, 6-8 minutes; drain. Add the next 10 ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, until pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. , Stir in 1 cup cheese, pickle and bacon; cook and stir until cheese is melted. Serve with remaining cheese and, if desired, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles and red onions.

  • Heat a large Dutch oven over medium-high until hot. Divide beef into 4 large loosely packed balls and place in Dutch oven. With a sturdy spatula, aggressively flatten balls as though you were making smash burgers; season with salt. Cook, undisturbed, until patties are well browned and crisp on the bottom, about 4 minutes. Turn each patty, season with salt, and continue to cook until second side is well browned, about 3 minutes longer. Transfer patties to a plate and let cool slightly.
  • Reduce heat to medium. Cook onion in pot, stirring often, until golden and browned around the edges, 10–15 minutes. (Some light scorching and sticking is okay here; don’t be shy.)
  • Add garlic to pot and cook, stirring, until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Using a wooden spoon or spatula, push onion-garlic mixture to one side of pot to make space, tilting pot if necessary to get some hot fat over to the empty side. Add tomato paste to empty space and stir in hot fat until fragrant and begins to darken, about 2 minutes. Add tomatoes, banana peppers, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and chopped meat and stir everything in pot together. Cook, stirring occasionally, until sauce is simmering and flavors have melded, about 10 minutes. Reduce heat to low and keep warm until ready to use.
