SOUTHWEST BURGER
We love burgers and have them every Saturday in summer. We also have a favorite burrito recipe. One day, we got the bright idea to combine two of our favorite recipe. Voila! Our Southwestern Burgers were created. -Tammy Fortney Deer Park, Washington

Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble beef and sausage over mixture; mix well. Shape into eight patties. , Grill, covered, over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160° and juices run clear. Top each burger with a cheese slice. , Grill 1-2 minutes longer or until cheese begins to melt. Serve on buns with the lettuce, tomato, avocado and mayonnaise or mustard if desired.

BOSTON BURGERS
"Best Recipes from the backs of Boxes, Bottles, Cans and Jars" by Cecil Dyer. This recipe was first introduced in the 1930's from Kraft and it's a real budget stretcher they say. Who doesn't need that now. I saw a recipe similar to this already posted but this one has fewer ingredients.

- Brown meat; drain.
- Add onion; cook until tender.
- Stir in beans, chili sauce and seasonings.
- Cover; simmer 20 minutes.

Steps:
- put ground beef in skillet with steak seasoning,onions,salt,pepper and brown beef till done during browning meat mixture cook bacon and drain chop up.
- put meat mixture back in skillet add chili sauce,baked beans,mushrooms and bacon heat on medium low heat till heated through stirring often.
- when serving fill buns with boston burger mixture top with shredded cheddar cheese and pickles.

This is great. They serve it at the factory where I work every now and then. I hear that some people call bologna "North Carolina Steak". This is a great burger!

- Sauté green pepper and onion in butter with seasonings of choice.
- Remove to a plate.
- Fry bologna in the greased pan to brown on both sides.
- Add cheese to top if you want it.
- Put mustard on prepared bun.
- Add bologna.
- Top with green peppers and onions.
