Snickers Caramel Apple Salad is actually a creamy, sweet dessert with bits of crisp, tart apples and gooey candy bar pieces.

Ingredients

1 cup milk ((any kind))
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
6 medium tart apples ((see notes above))
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, (thawed)
½ cup caramel sauce
6 full size Snickers bars ((1.86 ounces each), cut into bite-sized pieces)
1 cup mini marshmallows

Steps:

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together milk and pudding mix. Whisk for about a minute, then allow to sit and thicken for an additional 2-3 minutes.
While you wait, core and chop apples.
Fold whipped topping and caramel sauce into pudding mixture until smooth.
Fold apples, candy bars, and marshmallows into pudding mixture until incorporated.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until ready to serve.

6 regular size Snickers Candy Bar
6 apples I used Red Delicious... Granny Smith would also be great
1 (5 oz.) package Vanilla Instant Pudding dry, do not prepare
1/2 cup milk
1 (12 oz.) tub cool whip
1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping

Steps:

Whisk vanilla pudding packet, 1/2 cup milk and cool whip together until well combined. Chop up apples and Snickers. Stir chopped apples and Snickers into pudding mixture. Place in a large bowl and drizzle with caramel ice cream topping. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

6 snickers bars, regular size
4 medium apples, red delicious
1 (5.1) oz. size instant vanilla pudding, don't prepare
1 / 2 c milk
1 16 oz. tub of cool whip topping, room temperature
1 / 2 c caramel ice cream topping

Steps:

1. Whisk together vanilla pudding packet, milk, and cool whip until well blended
2. Chop up apples and snickers into bite size pieces and stir into pudding mixture
3. Place into a large bowl and drizzle with the caramel sauce.
4. Chill at least one hour prior to serving.

I first sampled this salad at a chili cook-off - perfect! This is a real hit at fall parties. I like to use a mix of green and red apples.

Ingredients

6 (2 1/4 ounce) Snickers candy bars, chill and chop
6 apples, cored and chopped into bite sized pieces (Granny Smith and or or Red Delicious)
1 (12 ounce) container Cool Whip
1 (5 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding (NO milk, use dry mix, DO NOT prepare!) or 1 (5 ounce) box butterscotch pudding mix (NO milk, use dry mix, DO NOT prepare!)
1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping (optional) or 1/2 cup caramel apple dip (optional)
1/2 cup chopped peanuts, can also sprinkled on top (optional)

Steps:

Mix cool whip and dry pudding mix together.
Chop apples and chilled Snickers.
Mix together.
Heat caramel sauce a bit in the microwave- just enough to drizzle, not enough to heat up salad.
Drizzle caramel sauce over salad and sprinkle peanuts on top.
Chill for at least an hour-- Voila!
