This came in the fall 2005 Kraft Food and Family magazine. It sounded so good and like it would make a nice quick snack for afterschool.

Steps:
- In a microwaveable bowl, place the caramels, milk and peanut butter.
- Microwave on high for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes or until the caramels are melted, stirring after every minute.
- Serve warm as a dip along with apple slices and chopped peanuts.

- In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the caramels and water on high for 1 minute; stir. Microwave 1 minute more or until smooth. Add peanut butter and mix well; microwave for 30 seconds or until smooth. Stir peanuts if desired. Serve warm with apples.
