AMISH SIX LAYER DINNER

- 1. Grease a casserole dish. Sprinkle each layer with salt and pepper before adding the next layer.
- 2. Place potatoes in the bottom of the casserole, rice, Add the layer of celery, carrots, garlic and onion. Add the layer of hamburger Add the green pepper. Pour the tomatoes over the mixture. Add another layer of onions.
- 3. Cover & Bake for 2 hours at 350 degrees F.
SIX LAYER CASSEROLE
With ground beef and veggies, this is a one dish dinner for us. This is also a recipe that has room to make it your own with more spices. I like to add a little garlic powder or garlic pepper.

- Grease 2 quart casserole dish. Place potatoes, celery, beef, onion and peppers in layers.
- Combine tomatoes salt and pepper and spoon over vegetables and beef in casserole. Cover and bake at 350 for about 1 1/2 hours. Garnish with green pepper slices, if desired.

- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and rinse with cold water. Drizzle with oil and toss to coat. , Place the lettuce in a 2-1/2-qt. glass serving bowl; top with pasta and eggs. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Layer with chicken and peas. In a small bowl, mix dressing ingredients until blended; spread over top. Refrigerate, covered, for several hours or overnight. , Just before serving, sprinkle with cheese and parsley.
