A one-pan shrimp and shirataki noodle stir-fry. Easy, quick and delicious keto-friendly recipe for busy weeknights.

2 pkg. shirataki noodles
1 cup chopped mushrooms
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp parsley
3 tsp garlic powder
3/4 lb cooked shrimp
2 tbsp Old Bay or other seafood seasoning

Steps:

  • Heat butter, shrimp, and mushrooms in wok.
  • Add butter, parsley, garlic powder.
  • Rinse shirataki noodles thoroughly and add to wok, mixing in the seafood seasoning and cream.
  • Cook for 5-10 minutes

Shirataki Noodles with Shrimp Stir-Fry image

If you're craving Asian noodle dishes, you have to try my shiritaki noodles with shrimp stir-fry! It's low carb, easy to make, and oh-so delicious.

3 tablespoons water
1 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons reduced-sodium tamari or soy sauce
2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 teaspoons minced ginger
1 pound spaghetti-shaped shirataki noodles
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 pound medium to large fresh or frozen shrimp ((thawed if frozen, peeled and deveined))
2 medium carrots ((cut into matchsticks))
1/2 large red bell pepper ((chopped))
1 head baby bok choy ((green and white parts chopped separately))
3 medium scallions ((green and white parts chopped separately))
1 cup broccoli slaw

Steps:

  • Whisk together the water, hoisin sauce, tamari/soy sauce, and Sriracha in a small bowl. Stir in the garlic and ginger, then set aside.
  • Rinse and drain the noodles in a small mesh strainer.
  • Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil over high heat, then add the noodles and cook for 3 minutes. Drain and rinse again.
  • In the same saucepan or a medium nonstick skillet, heat the noodles in the dry pan, stirring frequently, until the noodles are no longer moist.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or very large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add half of the shrimp and cook until they just turn opaque, about 2 minutes, then remove to a plate lined with paper towels.
  • Repeat with remaining shrimp.
  • Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil to the wok, then add the carrots and stir-fry for about a minute.
  • Add the red bell peppers and stir-fry for about a minute.
  • Add the white parts of the bok choy and scallions and stir-fry for about a minute.
  • Add the broccoli slaw and green parts of the bok choy and stir-fry for about a minute.
  • Return the shrimp to the pan, add the sauce, and cook for a minute or two until the sauce thickens and the shrimp is hot again.
  • Mix in the noodles and garnish with the green parts of the scallions.

16 oz shirataki noodles
1 Tbsp cooking oil
8 oz shrimp
2 cups cabbage (shredded)
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 small carrot (peeled and shredded)
1 stalk green onion (separate green and white, thinly sliced)
3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
1/2 tsp finely chopped fresh ginger
2 Tbsp soy sauce (more to taste)
2 Tbsp oyster sauce (more to taste)
1 tsp sriracha chili sauce (optional)
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Drain the water of the shirataki noodles. Rinse it briefly with cold water and set aside
  • Preheat a medium or large pan with cooking oil. Add white part of green onion, garlic, and ginger. Stir fry for about 1 minute. Add shredded cabbage and stir fry for about 2 minutes. Pour in 1/4 cup chicken broth and cook further to let the cabbage wilt. Add carrots, stir fry for another 30 seconds
  • Add shrimp and stir fry until the shrimp turn pink. Add shirataki noodles. Pour in the seasonings and stir fry to mix everything. Have a taste. Add more soy sauce and/or oyster sauce if needed. Garnish with the green part of sliced green onions. Serve immediately

Shirataki Noodles a great substitute for those trying to watch their carbs!

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 package of shirataki noodles
6 uncooked shrimp
4 c raw spinach
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1 wedge laughing cow cheese
salt to taste
pepper to taste
olive oil spray

Steps:

  • 1. First drain your noodles and then rinse them under warm water for about 5 to 10 minutes. You'll want to rinse the noodles very well to get the fishy smell off of them. Once they are rinsed, drain them and then pat down with a kitchen towel.
  • 2. Next up spray down a pan with some Olive Oil Spray and place the noodles in the heated pan. Pan fry the noodles until they are heated through.
  • 3. Now add about 4 cups of Spinach and allow that to wilt down by covering your pan.
  • 4. Once the Spinach is wilted down add your Shrimp. Allow your Shrimp to cook through and then add about 1/2 a teaspoon of Minced Garlic and mixed the ingredients together.
  • 5. Now the noodles in a bowl and add your wedge of Laughing Cow Cheese and some Salt and Pepper, mix together and enjoy!
