Categories     Dessert

Time 2h20m

Yield 30

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ sugar cookie mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 1/2 teaspoons milk
3/4 cup sliced almonds
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
5 to 6 teaspoons milk
3 tablespoons sliced almonds

EASY RECIPE FOR SCANDINAVIAN ALMOND BARS – OMA'S MANDELKEKSE
Web Scandinavian almond bars are typically drizzled with an almond glaze made of powdered sugar, almond extract, and milk. I do make them that way occasionally (pictured further below), but I just love the taste of almonds combined with dark chocolate. Plus, the drizzled chocolate adds a nice contrast and makes the bars look so pretty.
