Romance-in-a-Bowl Salad image

This eclectic salad is so easy and tasty you'll want to eat it everyday! My boyfriend said it was the best he's ever had. Full of aphrodisiacs, this salad is perfect for Valentine's Day or a romantic evening at home. For more aphrodisiacs, add asparagus, avocado or pine nuts.

Number Of Ingredients 12

4 cups baby salad greens
1 carrot, peeled and sliced
2 green onions, chopped
6 strawberries, hulled and sliced
12 fresh raspberries
1 teaspoon minced garlic
¼ cup chopped walnuts
¼ cup seasoned almond slices
¼ cup dried currants
¼ cup crumbled feta cheese
½ cup seasoned croutons
½ cup herbed vinaigrette salad dressing, or to taste

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, toss together the salad greens, carrot, green onions, strawberries, raspberries, garlic, walnuts, almond slices, currants and feta cheese. Divide between two salad bowls. Top each bowl with some croutons and serve with vinaigrette dressing.
