Ingredients

2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter, room temperature
2 eggs, large
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups raisins
2 cups chocolate chips

Steps:

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
Cream sugars and butter in a large bowl.
Add eggs and vanilla, mixing at medium speed until smooth.
In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
Add flour mixture to sugar mixture.
Fold in raisins and chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 22- 24 minutes.
Transfer immediately to cool, flat surface.

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
3 large eggs, room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups quick-cooking oats
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups Rice Krispies
1-1/2 cups chocolate-covered raisins
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut

Steps:

In a bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add the eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in cereal, raisins and coconut. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks.

Fold in bran flakes and nuts with spoon. Drop by tablespoons on a sprayed cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen depending on size you make your cookies.

Add cereal, coconut, nuts, and chocolate chips (or dried fruit). Drop by heaping teaspoons spacing 2 inches apart onto baking sheets. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool on tray for a few minutes, then transfer to a rack to finish cooling.
For small cookies, use a small cookie scoop (or teaspoon) to scoop out about 44 pieces of dough. Shape each dough into a neat circle. Bake immediately for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are nicely browned. Alternatively, you can shape the dough balls, put them in a zipper bag and chill or freeze until ready to use.
