2 tablespoons butter
4 pork chops, 3/4 inch thick
1 1/4 cups water
1 cup applesauce
1 red apple, chopped
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups Minute Rice, uncooked

Steps:

  • Melt butter in a large skillet on medium heat. Add pork chops; cook 5 minutes on each side or until cooked.
  • Remove pork chop from skillet.
  • Add watr, applesauce, apple, cinnamon to skillet; stir. Bring to a boil.
  • Stir in rice. Top with chops. Cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes.

1 pork tenderloin (1 lb.), cut into strips
1 Tbsp. oil
2 apples, coarsely chopped
1-1/2 cups broccoli florets
1 small onion, sliced
1/4 cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing
1-1/2 cups water
1-1/2 cups instant white rice, uncooked

Steps:

  • Cook and stir meat in hot oil in large skillet on medium-high heat 5 min. or until done.
  • Add apples, broccoli and onions; cook 3 to 5 min. or until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Stir in dressing; cook 1 min.
  • Stir in water and rice. Bring to boil; cover. Remove from heat; let stand 5 min. Fluff with fork.

2 Granny Smith apples, sliced
2 cups uncooked instant rice
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1 onion, cut into strips
2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette dressing
3 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary

Steps:

  • Spray a nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Cook pork chops until browned, about 3 minutes per side. Add apples, rice, mushrooms, onion, and dressing; cook until onion starts to soften, about 3 minutes. Stir in chicken broth, thyme, and rosemary. Cover and simmer until pork is no longer pink in the center and apples are tender, about 10 minutes.

1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 lb fully cooked kielbasa sausage, cut lengthwise into fourths, sliced
3 large tomatoes, chopped (2 1/2 cups)
1 cup Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1 1/2 cups uncooked instant rice
Red pepper sauce, if desired

Steps:

  • Spray 12-inch skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Add onion, garlic and bell pepper to skillet. Cover; cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring once, until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  • Stir in kielbasa, tomatoes, broth, salt and Cajun seasoning. Heat to boiling; stir in rice. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low. Cook 8 to 10 minutes or until rice is tender. Fluff with fork before serving. Serve with pepper sauce.

1 tablespoon oil
4 boneless pork chops
2 apples, coarsely chopped (Granny Smith, McIntosh)
1 1/2 cups apple cider
6 ounces Stove Top stuffing mix, any variety

Steps:

  • Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat.
  • Add chops and cook 4 minutes on each side or until lightly browned.
  • Remove chops from skillet.
  • Add apples, cider and bring to a boil.
  • (Next time, I'll try adding raisins during this step too.) Add stuffing veg/seasoning packet and stuffing crumbs.
  • Stir just to moisten.
  • Top with chops and cover.
  • Cook on low heat 10 minutes or until chops are cooked through.
