For gatherings, game days, movie night and even dinner these nachos for a crowd are the best. Layer fixings and bake them in the oven and feel like a genius.

Number Of Ingredients 7

Ingredients

2 bags (11 oz each) tortilla chips
5 cups shredded cheese
1 can black beans ( drained)
½ cup white onion (chopped)
½ cup pickled jalapeños
Toppings such as cilantro (scallions and olives)
Serve with sour cream (guacamole and salsa)

Steps:

Heat oven to 350 F. Line two large rimmed baking sheets with foil. Arrange half of the chips on pans and top with some cheeses, beans, onion, and jalapeño. Repeat layers for two to three layers total. (These can be assembled up to one hour before baking.)
Working with one sheet at a time, bake until cheese is melted, 10 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle with cilantro, scallions and olives if desired and serve with desired toppings. Heat a second pan as the first for fresh, hot nachos.

1 carton (16 ounces) refrigerated fully cooked barbecued shredded pork
1 package (12-1/2 ounces) nacho tortilla chips
2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup salsa
1/2 cup shredded lettuce
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
1/4 cup sliced ripe olives, optional
1/4 cup pickled pepper rings, optional

Steps:

Heat pork according to package directions. Place tortilla chips on a large microwave-safe serving plate. Layer with pork and cheese., Microwave, uncovered, on high for 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with sour cream, salsa, lettuce and onions. Sprinkle with olives and pepper rings if desired.
